Ubuntu command start won't open chrome

Okay, it just says start not found then did you mean… this is pretty frustrating.

I seriously can’t be the only one with this problem…

In Ubuntu, start is not used to open a package (program). You’d want to simply use:

google-chrome

I should note, this is assuming you’re running Ubuntu on a stand-alone partition or on a dual-boot machine (i.e. logged directly into Ubuntu as apposed to running the Linux terminal inside Windows.) If you’re running the Ubuntu terminal inside windows, the above suggestion may not work.

Thanks… google-chrom wasn’t working either. I found a work around so we’re all good. Thank you though. Seriously. Thanks.

Hey Darius. I’m having the same problem. How were you able to find a solution?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I believe I just, using VSCode I right clicked on the file name and opened it into the browser from there.

It worked! Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
