You’ll need to replace the git@example.com:user/repo with an actual git repository. That specific text is meant to serve as an example of what you would enter in. Not as what you would copy/paste into your terminal.
Would you mind linking me to the curriculum that you followed this text? I can maybe see if we can make this more clear.
