Pre work: RSpec Exercise 1 - Missing Gem Bundle

Hello,

I’m trying to work on the first exercise for the RSpec lecture; however, received this message when trying to launch RSpec in my terminal:

Sunnys-MBP:rspec_exercise_1 SunnyPatel$ bundle install

Looks like the gem bundler is missing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey Sunny,

I got stuck on this too.

long story short, this command in terminal helped me:

gem update --system

After that completed, I restarted VS and bundle install worked.
I’m on macOS 10.14.3

If this doesn’t help you, maybe the source where I found my soln can help. Linked below. There were other suggestions than what I used. Happy coding!

Hey Check,

Thanks for the reply, but I was able to get the bundle installed. Had to delete the GemLock file that came with the folder when I downloaded it.
