Permission Denied for Cloning Repository off of remote server

Question

I am trying to clone a repo off a remote server, but I keep getting that permission is denied. What do I do?

What I’ve tried

I just tried to follow the directions and am its not letting me clone the repo

I typed the command for cloning verbatim as found in the “Git recipes” section and got this message. Thanks in advance for any help

Hi samh,
Great to see that you’re out everything in the modules as you go!

Don’t worry, that line of code you tried to run was just an example to show you the format to use when you need to clone a repo off a remote server. The actual username and repo in the example doesn’t exist.
