Question

has a ‘form’ element that is 600px when the window is wider than 600px

  • has exactly one input with a name of ‘pet_name’ and an associated label with the content ‘Name’

  • has exactly one ‘select’ element with a name of ‘pet_type’ and an associated label with the content ‘Type’

What I’ve tried

So I believe, I fixed the first issue but im not understanding the other two could someone elaborate further?

Hi Angelica, and welcome to the forum!

For the pet_name and pet_type issues, it is really a matter of making sure the values you have for the for, id, name attributes as well as the content within the opening and closing tags matches the directions EXACTLY.

That said, here are the specs from the directions:

  • … has an single-line text input with and id of “name”, a name of "pet_name" , and with an associated label that reads “Name”.
  • … has a drop-down with an id of “type”, a name of "pet_type" , an associated label that reads “Type”, with only the options “Cat”, “Dog”, “Hamster”, “Other”, “Zebra”.

When you revise these elements, make sure you match the spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and spacing exactly as you see in these directions.

I’m glad to hear you figured out the form issue!
