.gitignore question

Hi guys/gals-

Are we supposed to add and commit .gitignore? I know someone on the thread had some issues with .gitignore but there didn’t seem to be a resolve. If I don’t add/commit it, I have this message:

If I do add/commit, I get this…

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi, @andydanielson … that’s correct. The .gitignore file should be committed. This is part of the initial instructions in the Git assessment.
