I was working on the Git Assessment till I got to this part of the assessment where it showed how the file structure should be (on the left) but I noticed that my file structure had some extra files that ended in “.jpg:Zone.Identifier” (on the right)
i’m not sure if I should delete the those files?
This is a Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) thing. Information
My suggestion would be to simply do the assessment natively from Windows. Using PowerShell or Windows Terminal. Have all your files stored in your Windows
~/Documents/git-repo-management folder and install the Git for Windows to use git from your Windows command line.
