Git additional branch

I accidentally add a branch because I add an a to together so it was togeather, I did not add anything in it and just left it there but when i took the assessment I failed
The questions you missed were:

’together’ branch

--- a/site.html+++ b/site.html@@ -8,10 +8,13 @@-  <img src="images/drawings/joseph-roulin.jpg">+<<<<<<< HEAD+  <img src="images/drawings/joseph-roulin.jpg">+=======+>>>>>>> pictures\ No newline at end of file

’togeather’ branch

Additional branch provided
```</strong>
so my question is can I just delete it or do I need to restart from the beginning?
I’m just like you doing these assessments and trying to get in for the August 10th cohort, so take my answer with a grain of salt, but I’m assuming you can delete that branch using
git branch -d togeather
I assume after that you should be fine. But like I said, I might not know what I’m talking about!!! Good luck.
@FullStackJunkie is correct. You should be able to delete the extra togeather branch.
Tip :bulb:
Double and triple check that the branch does get deleted after you git branch -d togeather by using git branch and verifying that it is gone.
